It's all systems go for Horspath's Charity Fun Tape Ball Cricket Six-A-Side Competition at the Recreation Ground on Sunday (August 24).
With more than 60 people signed up to take part, 10 teams have been selected consisting of adult and junior cricketers plus supporters, parents, friends and family.
All players will be wearing coloured shirts generously sponsored by Newtrim UK in the event, which is a fundraiser for Sobell House Hospice.
The itinerary for the day is as follows:
10.15 Register (£5 donation per player in aid of charity)
11.00 Play starts
6.00 Play ends followed by Presentations & Auction (see lots below)
7.00 Live music with Good Vibes Only
With thanks to those who have donated some fantastic prizes there will also be a raffle and auction to raise funds for Sobell.
Organisers ask all those taking part and attending the event to PLEASE BRING CASH, especially for when registering to play and the raffle (card transactions will be accepted for auction items).
With the bar open from lunchtime and a BBQ lined up, please come along and support the club in Sunday's fundraising charity venture.
