Horspath's four matches on Saturday were all abandoned with play getting under way in each one before rain washed the games out.
A shower in the morning led to the start being delayed half-an-hour at the Recreation Ground before Horspath were put in to bat by second-placed Gerrards Cross in Home Counties Premier Cricket League Division 2.
The home side had reached 81-5 after 21.1 overs under grey skies when a massive downpour hit the ground and no further play was possible.
Viv Narayan was unbeaten on 32 and Jamaican international all-rounder Derval Green, on his debut, had just arrived at the non-striker's end when the heavens opened.
He saw Narayan face one ball before the players raced off the pitch for the cover of the clubroom. And, despite two further inspections in the afternoon persistent rain, meant that was that.
Robbie Eason, stepping up from the 2nd XI for his first Home Counties appearance of the season, made 18 at the top of the order before becoming one of three victims for Harry Spear (3-26), while Patrick Smith (2-7) was the other successful bowler.
Both sides take seven points, and Horspath remain in eighth place ahead of next Saturday's trip to ninth-placed Chesham, whose game at home to leaders Wokingham was also abandoned with the Bucks clubs having posted 154 all out and the visitors 15-0. The format switches to time games next weekend.

It was a similar tale in the Cherwell League.
Leaders Horspath 2nd had struggled to 115-9 off 39 overs after being put in to bat at fifth-placed Brackley in Division 2 before rain ended proceedings.
Opener Dan Todd made a patient 32, before falling to spinner Michael Lowe (5-22) as the hosts gained the upper hand.
Last pair George Crawford (17no) and Ed Oakley were defying Brackley when the match was washed out. Both sides take seven points.
With second-placed Westbury losing by 46 runs to Witney Swifts on the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method, Horspath's lead at the top has been extended to 19 points.
Horspath entertain fourth-placed Great & Little Tew, whose match against Tiddington was abandoned, next Saturday when the format switches to time games.
Luke Heritage hit a half-century before leaders Horspath 3rd's Division 4B fixture at Stanton Harcourt fell victim to bad weather with the game intriguingly poised.
Heritage continued his good form with 52 from 90 balls, which included three fours, as the visitors posted 157-9 in a match reduced to 41 overs by rain after being put in to bat.
He shared a fourth-wicket stand of 53 with skipper Mohson Rana (32) before being the last man out with Geraint Apps (2-23), Elliot Graham (2-29) and Declan Wastie (2-32) leading the Harcourt attack.
Josh Cummings's opening burst of 3-35 had Harcourt in trouble at 69-5 with Wastie unbeaten on 21 when the match was abandoned. Both sides take seven points.
The washout sees Horspath knocked off top spot into third after Stonesfield and Kingston Bagpuize beat Oxenford 2nd and Dorchester-on-Thames respectively.
The side will bid to make up lost ground at home to fourth-placed Charlbury, who won by seven-wickets at Cumnor 2nd, next Saturday.
Horspath 4th had seen Frieth openers Saqib Ghafoor (59no) and Nazakat Rashid (51no) race to 112-0 off 14.3 overs after choosing to bat when their home Division 6C fixture was abandoned. Both sides take seven points.
Horspath drop a place to seventh ahead of the trip to face Golden Sparrows at East Hanney next Saturday.
