Opener Dom O'Connor hit 93 to spearhead Horspath's charge to a 72-run victory at home to third-placed Minster Lovell and a fourth straight win in Cherwell League Division 2.
The left-hander's 145-ball knock set the hosts on the way to an impressive 273-5 after being put in to bat, before they bowled out Minster for 201.
And the victory saw Horspath shoot 17 points clear at the top with joint leaders Westbury crashing to a 102-run defeat at home to Great & Little Tew.
O'Connor set the tone from the start by putting on 76 for the first wicket with Dan Todd before the latter was caught behind by Callum Ardron off Edgar Easterbrook for 27.
Tyron Eyles then continued his good form following his key innings in the Village Cup victory at Langford by making 55 in a second-wicket stand of 134 with O'Connor.
The opener went to his half-century with a sumptuous drive to the cover boundary by the hedge, while Eyles brought up his fifty with a single down to long off.
They had taken the score to 210 when Eyles advanced down the pitch to Connor Tinsley only to sky a leading edge to Seamus Bowles at point.
O'Connor was closing in on a sixth Cherwell League century when he lofted a drive off Tinsley to James Mattinson at long on and make it 244-3. His superb innings included 12 fours.
It was left to Max Smith to hammer 32 off 24 balls to ensure Horspath posted a formidable total before falling caught and bowled to Easterbrook (3-55), while Tinsley finished with 2-49 and James Mutton bowled his 10 overs at a cost of just 19 runs.
Will Eason (3-32) then knocked over Minster's top order as the visitors stumbled to 44-3, while Smith bowled his 10 overs for 25 runs but without success.
Tinsley (65) attempted to rally the visitors, putting on 55 for the fifth wicket with Charlie Driver before the latter was run out by skipper Ryan Hicks for 25 to make it 143-5.
The captain also made inroads with his left-arm spin, picking up 3-39 to keep Minster in check with his haul including Easterbrook for 31.
Ed Oakley (2-28) returned to the attack to shatter Tinsley's stumps with the Minster man's runs coming off 88 balls and including eight fours, before Joe Gibbs wrapped up the win with the final wicket courtesy of Eyles's catch in the deep.
Horspath will look to consolidate their lead at the top on Saturday when they visit fifth-placed Brackley, who lost to Tiddington by 138 runs.
