Dan Todd and Tyron Eyles hit unbeaten half-centuries as leaders Horspath 2nd dominated their Cherwell League Division 1 top-of-the-table clash with an emphatic 10-wicket win at Aston Rowant 2nd.
The side are now 23 points clear of Bicester & North Oxford, who climbed the table on the back of a 125-run victory at Cumnor, while Rowant drop to fourth.
It was sweet revenge for Horspath, who are unbeaten since going down by 11 runs to Rowant on the opening day.
A highly efficient display with the ball saw the hosts dismissed for 132 after choosing to bat.
Will Eason made the early inroads, reducing Rowant to 27-3, before Kaian Eaton (36) and Xavier Jonathan Garvs (31) put on 60 for the fourth wicket.
But after they both fell with the score on 87 to captain Ryan Hicks (3-29) and Ed Oakley respectively, the rest of the order were swept away by the skipper and Josh Richardson (3-37) as wicket-keeper George Crawford claimed four catches.
Eyles and Todd then powered Horspath to victory at 136-0 off 28.3 overs.
Todd was the first to fifty, making 63 not out from 94 deliveries with eight fours, while Eyles finished unbeaten on 65 off 75 balls with 10 fours.
The side will seek to keep up the momentum on Saturday when Banbury 2nd, who drew with Buckingham Town, visit the Recreation Ground.
