Chasing the hosts' 107 all out after they were inserted, the visitors were in early trouble at 28-3.
But Hussain stood firm to make 53 off 57 balls with eight fours and a six to steer Horspath towards victory at 109-5.
He was well supported by 14-year-old Zach Rayner, who hit the winning runs to finish unbeaten on 26.
