Robbie Eason's unbeaten 75 and four wickets apiece for Ed Oakley and captain Ryan Hicks helped Horspath 2nd secure a draw at Westbury and increase their lead at the top of Cherwell League Division 1 to 16 points.
The contest between last season's two promoted sides saw Horspath put in to bat and post 220-6 built around Eason's 105-ball knock in the middle order.
Luke Finch, promoted to open the batting after his sparkling 122 for the 3rd XI a week earlier, weighed in with 36, before Tyron Eyles made 43 on his return to the side following a broken finger.
Eason steered Horspath to their final total, hitting six fours and one six with Hicks (18no) contributing useful late runs.
Westbury, who have found it tougher going on their step up to the top flight this season, were well placed at 101-1 in reply.
But then Hicks removed Tom Gurney for 56 courtesy of a Finch catch after he had put on 80 for the second wicket with George Holmes.
The Westbury opener kept his side on track, adding 68 for the fourth wicket with Tom Wilson, before he was caught by Joe Gibbs off Oakley for 54.
It sparked a collapse with five wickets going down for 11 runs capped by Wilson being bowled by Oakley (4-38) for 46 as the Horspath seamer and Hicks (4-62) turned the screw to leave the hosts 186-8.
However, there was no further joy for the leaders as the ninth-wicket pair of captain Harry Williams (15no) and Edward Selby-Lowndes saw their side to the close at 206-8 for the draw.
Horspath will be looking to consolidate their position at the summit when they visit second-placed Aston Rowant 2nd, who drew at Banbury 2nd, in a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday.
