Horspath staged a terrific fightback to kick-start their Oxfordshire Senior T20 Cup Pool 2 campaign with a 35-run victory at Aston Rowant.
Following an opening day defeat by Tiddington, the visitors looked to be up against it again after posting 142-8 as Rowant raced to 71-0 in the eighth over.
But then acting skipper Josh Richardson turned the game by having openers Xavier Jonathan Garvs (47) and Tom Condon (18) both caught by Stephen Green at deep mid-wicket.
It sparked an almighty collapse as Rowant crashed to 107 all out with Joe Gibbs (4-10), Richardson (3-20) and Sravan Konidena (2-19) polishing off the hosts.
Gibbs capped his fine spell by running out Rowant's last man to ultimately leave Horspath as comfortable winners.
With the match played on Rowant's second pitch as preparations took place for the Electric Hills Music Festival by the main ground this Saturday, Horspath chose to bat first and struggled to find any momentum.
Richardson and Konidena both made 23 apiece, before James Boden weighed in with 26 as wickets fell to Jack North (3-18), Max Fendom (2-19) and Garvs (2-35).
It required a handy unbroken ninth-wicket stand of 29 between Sam Leslie (27no) and Gibbs to take Horspath to their final total.
The victory moves the side up to second spot level on points with Tiddington, who lost by six wickets to Challow & Childrey in the evening's other match.
Next up for Horspath is a home game against Thame Town on Tuesday.
