Horspath were blown away by a spectacular unbeaten century from Tiddington opener Chris Goodman as they fell to a 92-run defeat in their Oxfordshire Senior T20 Cup Pool 2 opener at the Recreation Ground.
Goodman smashed 128 not out off 69 balls with ten fours and ten sixes to steer the visitors to a formidable 217-1 after they chose to bat.
He shared an opening stand of 111 with Ben Smith as the pair matched each other in a boundary blitz.
Goodman went to his fifty with a six over square leg in the 10th over, before Smith followed him to his half-century two balls later with a four through the covers.
Derval Green's introduction to the attack finally ended their partnership when he bowled Smith with his third delivery for 53 off 33 balls, which included seven fours and two sixes.
However, that was to prove Horspath's only success as Goodman continued to clear the ropes with some mighty blows, supported by Sam Allen.
Goodman went to his century with a six over long off by the cycle speedway track, before powering the visitors past 200 with a cover drive for four.
The runs continued to flow in the closing overs as the Tiddington pair shared an unbroken second-wicket stand of 106.
Horspath never threatened the target as they were bowled out for 125 off 15.4 overs.
Sraven Konidena made 23 off eight balls at the top of the order, before being unluckily run out when bowler Riley Logan deflected a Derval Green drive on to the stumps as he backed up.
Derval top-scored with 26 but when he was caught by Logan off Bradley Rose, the hosts were 83-6 and the game was up.
Horspath bid to bounce back on Tuesday when they visit Aston Rowant, whose game at Thame Town was abandoned.
