Horspath produced a dominant display to be crowned Oxfordshire champions in the Cawston Press Village Cup for the fifth time in six years with a commanding 139-run win over Langford in the regional final at the Recreation Ground.
The club's fourth county title in a row and a ninth in total was built on a solid batting show as the hosts posted 256-6 with half-centuries from Dan Todd, Stephen Green and captain Amin Rafiq.
Horspath's attack then suffocated the visitors, who were bowled out for 117 with the wickets shared around to the delight of the home supporters in a crowd of around 200.
Now Horspath go into the last 32 of the national rounds with the next step on the road to Lord's a home tie on Sunday, June 21 against Glamorgan & Gwent champions Clydach, who swept aside Lisvane by 110 runs.
Under grey skies, Todd and Rayaan Dogar provided the perfect platform for the Home Counties Premier Cricket League Division 2 hosts with an opening stand of 77 off 12 overs after they chose to bat in the fourth-round tie.
With the pair scoring fluently, Todd took the side to fifty with a four through mid-wicket, and Dogar maintained the momentum with three successive boundaries only to be caught at point by Freddie Webb off Tino Mushonga for 38 off 37 balls.
Todd went to his half-century in style with a six down to the nets as he added 51 for the second wicket with Green, who got into his stride with a maximum down the ground.
Todd had moved on to 53, which also included eight fours, when his 61-ball knock ended as he holed out to William Parsons on the mid-wicket boundary off Jack Brown to make it 128-2.
Green cleared the ropes again before Elliot Ruff chopped on a low delivery from Brown for 11 and Josh Richardson hit the left-arm spinner down Aaron Court's throat at long off to leave Horspath 152-4.
With Horspath's principal sponsors, STRONG Pilates Oxford, in attendance as they engaged with supporters at their branded gazebo, Green and Rafiq reasserted control with 88 for the fifth wicket.
Rafiq powered Horspath past 200 with a straight six, before Green went to a well-made half-century by pulling a four through mid-wicket.
They both slammed legside maximums as 17 came off the 37th over, before Rafiq completed his fifty by firing a four back past the bowler. He added a seventh boundary to go with two sixes before his 41-ball knock ended when he was bowled by Mushonga's next delivery for 54.
Asad Rafiq was run out going for two in the last over as Green finished unbeaten on 63 off 78 balls with four fours and three sixes. Brown (3-34) was the pick of the Langford attack with Mushonga (2-52) the other wicket-taker.
It looked a challenging total and Horspath got off to a dream start with the ball when left-arm spinner Ryan Hicks took a sharp catch off his own bowling to dismiss Court with his third delivery and leave the visitors 0-1.
Harry Stevens hit two sixes to kick-start the innings but Hicks (2-34) had his revenge when the Langford batsman picked out Dougal Main at long on in front of the nets to make it 18-2.
Mushonga then hit a Will Eason delivery into Hick's hands at cover, and Horspath tightened their grip when Asad got in on the act with Webb driving straight to Ruff at mid-off to leave the visitors 28-4.
The Horspath Barmy Army's hooter was sounding again when Sam Leslie bowled William Parsons and it was 54-6 when the left-arm spinner struck again with Hicks taking a good low catch at long on to remove Matt Bicker for 18.
With fancy dress breaking out among the home supporters on the boundary, Leslie (3-14) claimed his third victim by bowling James Haley to leave the West of England Premier Cricket League Gloucestershire division visitors in disarray at 58-7.
Nathan Cutmore, who smashed three sixes in making 32 off 23 balls, and captain Jake Romanek resisted with a spirited 57 for the eighth wicket, before he fell lbw to Richardson's leg spin to make it 115-8.
Two runs later, Amin Rafiq (2-2) wrapped up the innings with wickets off consecutive deliveries as he bowled Romanek for 20, before trapping Brown lbw with the visitors all out off 27.2 overs.
It completed a highly efficient performance Horspath, who can now look forward to the challenge of the national rounds
