Horspath 2nd are set for a Cherwell League Division 2 title decider against Westbury at the Recreation Ground on Saturday after both side's games fell victim to the rain at the weekend.
Going into the final match of the campaign, Horspath, who clinched promotion a week earlier, hold a 16-point cushion over their rivals.
Skipper Ryan Hicks claimed his third five-wicket haul of the season as Horspath bowled bottom club Wolverton Town out for 165 after the hosts elected to bat.
But then rain meant Horspath were denied the chance to start their reply leading to the match to be abandoned.
Will Eason struck two early blows to reduce Wolverton to 4-2, before Jamil Raja (35) and captain Nikhil Panchal (32) steadied the ship with 54 for the third wicket.
Tyron Eyles ended their partnership by bowling Panchal, before Hicks opened his account by having Raja caught by Ehsan Hussain to make it 114-5.
The left-arm spinner then took the last four wickets, repeating his five-wicket haul against Wolverton from earlier in the season when Dan Todd caught Haris Qureshi in the deep to finish with 5-33 from 8.4 overs.
Eason (2-33), Eyles (2-45) and Sam Leslie (1-21) were the other wicket-takers, while Ed Oakley bowled his 10 overs at a cost of just 12 runs with six maidens.
The rain then arrived just as it did at Westbury, who have also secured promotion, after they had bowled out Tiddington for 190. All sides take seven points.
