Dan Corner and Joval Calix starred as Horspath 2nd clinched promotion from Cherwell League Division 2 with a 42-run win over Witney Swifts at the Recreation Ground.
Corner cracked 55 out of the leaders 223-9 after they had been put in to bat, before Calix claimed 5-55 to send Swifts spinning to 181 all out, with skipper Ryan Hicks taking five catches.
The win gives Horspath an unassailable 76-point lead over third-placed Tiddington with two games left and the focus now centres on the title race with the side holding a 16-point advantage over second-placed Westbury.
Tejas Anand, with a run-a-ball 30, and Rayaan Dogar got Horspath off to a lively start before both fell with the score on 47.
The side then slipped to 64-4, before Corner and Will Eason (21) steadied the ship with 57 for the fifth wicket.
Corner completed his second half-century for the 2nd XI this season - added to one for the 3rd XI - with his ninth four whipped through mid-wicket.
It continued his remarkable run against Swifts as his fifty earlier this season came when he made 74 away to the Witney side, having also made 73 at home to them last year.
His patient 92-ball knock finally ended when he was caught in the deep by Edward Priest off Charlie Fisher, making it 142-6.
Dougal Main weighed in with 29, before skipper Ryan Hicks hammered an unbeaten 33 in an unbroken last-wicket stand of 35 with Ed Oakley to ensure the hosts posted a challenging total.
Graeme Woodward (3-27) was the pick of the Swifts attack supported by Fisher (2-41) and Craig Horne (2-43).
Oakley pegged Swifts back to 42-2 by removing openers Priest and Josh Grant, before the visitors rallied through Thomas Taylor and George Townsend.
They were well placed at 100-2, but then Calix had Taylor caught by Hicks for 38 and a collapse set in.
Calix, supported by Hicks (2-20), worked his way through the order, completing his first five-wicket haul of the season when Hicks caught Rob Cartwright to make it 151-9.
It was left to fellow spinner Sam Leslie to wrap up victory with Hicks taking his fifth catch at deep mid-wicket to dismiss Horne for 15.
Horspath will aim to strenthen their grip at the top on Saturday when they visit bottom club Wolverton Town, who lost by seven wickets to Tiddington.
