Elliot Ruff hammered a half-century to help Horspath 2nd regain top spot in Cherwell League Division 2 with a four-wicket win over Brackley at the Recreation Ground.
Having restricted the Northants club to 212-9 after putting them in to bat, Horspath's run chase was set in motion by Dom O'Connor (41) and Tom Coleman (29) with 54 for the first wicket.
With the hosts 99-3, Ruff joined Stephen Green (35) in a fourth-wicket stand of 72.
Ruff went to his second fifty of the season with a boundary down the ground, and had moved on to 60 when he was bowled by Josh Markham (2-29). His runs came off 54 balls and included six fours and three sixes.
It was then left to Will Eason and Dougal Main to see Horspath over the line at 213-6.
Eason, with 3-33 off 17 overs, had been the pick of the home attack well supported by Joval Calix (3-54) in Brackley's innings.
Skipper Joshua Rowland hit an unbeaten 67 from 61 deliveries with eight fours and two sixes to take the visitors to their final total after opener Eric Carpenter made a patient 51 off 107 balls, hitting eight fours.
With the morning leaders Westbury losing by five wickets to Witney Swifts, Horspath are now 16 points clear at the top going into next Saturday's trip to sixth-placed Great & Little Tew, who drew with Tiddington.
