Ehsan Hussain hit a maiden Cherwell League half-century with an unbeaten 66 and took 4-17 as Horspath 4th bounced back to winning ways with a nine-wicket victory at home to Abingdon Vale 2nd in Division 6C.
Hussain's haul helped restrict Vale to 137 all out after they had been put in to bat with Zach Rayner (2-9) and Harsh Singh (2-23) also among the wickets as Matthew Bell (43) top-scored.
Hussain completed a fine all-round display by hitting seven fours and one six in his 86-ball knock, sharing an unbroken second-wicket stand of 122 with Archie Lewins (47no) to power Horspath to victory at 138-1.
Horspath remain eighth as they prepare for Saturday's trip to ninth-placed Stokenchurch 2nd, who beat Frieth by 92 runs.
