Horspath were delighted to raise £2,750 for Thames Valley Air Ambulance after organising a charity tournament in the summer.
Members gathered in the clubroom on Sunday to hand over a cheque to TVAA's head of community and events Ruth Dunkin.
Ten teams consisting of men's and women's players, juniors, friends and supporters took part in the Charity Tape Ball Cricket Six-A-Side Competition at the Recreation Ground over the August Bank Holiday.
The Air Ambulance was the chosen charity as the club lost two prominent members earlier this year in Max Eason and Tommy Pritchard, who were attended by medical services.
It was a brilliant effort from everyone involved to raise such an amount for TVAA and something the club is very proud of.
The tournament also successfully brought together all sections of the club - men's, women, youth and social members - on the one day for a most worthy cause.
Special thanks to Newtrim UK, who generously donated the coloured shirts for the teams, and to chief organiser Diddy for all his hard work.
Ruth commented: "It was fabulous to go along on the day to support Horspath and we are thrilled that they managed to exceed their fundraising target.
"Being fully funded by the communities we serve, the crews on our iconic red helicopter and Critical Care Response vehicles quite simply couldn’t do what they do without support and fundraising events like this. Thank you!"
