Horspath celebrated being crowned Cherwell League Division 1 champions for a third time following a convincing 79-run victory at Aston Rowant 2nd on Saturday.
Will Eason's side now have an unassailable 42-point lead going into the final game after second-placed Didcot lost by 64 runs at East Oxford.
The title triumph, which adds to Horspath's championships in 2010 and 2013, means the club are in line to be invited to rejoin the Home Counties Premier League after just one season away.
Stephen Green hit an unbeaten 77 in Saturday's success after opener Robbie Eason made 68 as Horspath posted 245-7 after electing to bat.
Rowant were then bowled out for 166 with leg-spinner Viv Narayan (4-28) wrapping up the innings.
Dan Todd was rewarded for his impressive century for the 2nd XI two weeks ago with a first-team call-up and opened the batting with Robbie Eason.
He had made 12 when he was caught behind by Thad Cooper off Jacob Eaton, but Eason stood firm and moved the score along assisted by Tom Coleman, who chipped in with 30 as the visitors reached 89-3.
Eason smashed the first of two sixes over mid-wicket to reach a fifth league half-century of the season from his combined 1st and 2nd XI appearances. It also saw the Horspath opener clock up 500 league runs for the season.
He shared a fourth-wicket stand of 88 with Green before being stumped by Cooper off Chris Watling to make it 177-4. His runs came off 115 balls and also included six fours.
Green batted fluently to bring up his second fifty of the season, hitting 10 fours and a six in his 81-ball knock, while Narayan weighed in with a breezy 21 as Horspath posted a challenging total. Skipper Ben Knowler (2-32) was Rowant's most successful bowler.
With singer Lulu walking round the ground to the second pitch where her son and grandson were playing for Aston Rowant 4th, it was a 'Shout' for lbw from Will Eason which made the breakthrough in the hosts' reply.
Cooper and Jack Veal then took Rowant 80-1 in the 22nd over only for Horspath to go 'Boom Bang-a-Bang' with three quick wickets.
Jehan Mohammed bowled Veal for 32, before Amin Rafiq's off-spin led to Cooper (34) sending a skier to Will Eason at mid-wicket, and when Mohammed (2-29) trapped Ivan Lockem lbw it was suddenly 88-4.
Left-arm spinner Sam Leslie, on his first-team debut, added to the pressure on the visitors with a tidy spell which included bowling Conor Rogan.
Rafiq (2-35) claimed a second victim courtesy of a Robbie Eason stumping, before Narayan was 'The Man with the Golden Arm', bowling three tailenders, while Todd ran in from long on take a good low catch to dismiss Sasha Barras for a defiant 45.
A wait then followed before confirmation of Didcot's defeat filtered through with the news greeted by a great cheer from the Horspath dressing room to spark the title celebrations.
It also completed a double for the side this season after their success in the Oxfordshire Group final of the Voneus Village Cup.
The side will look to sign off the campaign in style when they face East Oxford at the Recreation Ground on Saturday. Victory then would see Horspath eclipse their previous best total of 359 points set in 2010.
An understrength Horspath 2nd fell to a 170-run defeat against Minster Lovell in Division 2 at the Recreation Ground.
The hosts did well to bowl Minster out for 239 after putting them in to bat, but then collapsed to 69 all out.
Minster were pegged back from 122-2 with skipper Ryan Hicks (2-25) and Josh Cummings (2-49) leading the way, before Nkululeko Gumpo took 3-18. Connor Tinsley (63) top-scored for the visitors.
But Horspath had no answer to the Minster bowlers with Edgar Eastbrook (5-16) the chief destroyer.
The side remain fourth in the table ahead of their final game at Great & Little Tew on Saturday.
Captain Mohson Rana suffered a badly dislocated finger as Horspath 3rd slid to a 135-run defeat at home to Brackley, who clinched the Division 3A title.
He picked up the injury while fielding as the leaders made 230 all out after being inserted.
Dougal Main (4-53) was Horspath's chief wicket-taker, while Jason Cardy picked up 2-24 and there were good spells from youngsters Adittya Nair (2-33) and Nauman Amran (1-42).
Skipper Joshua Rowland (60), Michael Lowe (55) and opener Adam Wirth (49) shone for the title-chasers.
Horspath were soon in trouble at 13-5, and it was only lower order resistance from Adrian Manger (23) and Amran (22no), which took the side to 95 all out after Josh Markham (5-37) wreaked havoc.
The side remain bottom ahead of Saturday's trip to Banbury 3rd.
