Teenager Archie Lewins hit a maiden Cherwell League half-century as Horspath 4th drew their Division 5C basement battle at Radley in a tense finish.
With the hosts posting 160-9 on the famous college grounds after electing to bat, Horspath fell just short of victory at 155-7.
Lewins led the run chase with 52 off 100 balls, sharing a second-wicket stand of 58 with opener Tom Smith (28), before putting on 67 with Eddie Gadd (36) for the third wicket.
The 16-year-old's fine knock, which included four boundaries, ended when he was run out to leave the visitors 134-3. With three wickets then going down on 153, the target proved just out of reach.
Ulfat Rehman, with 3-14 from 11 overs, and Atif Liaquat (2-35) held Horspath in check.
Earlier, Sammy Parker returned league-best figures of 4-20 from 10 overs and Stuart Berry shone with 3-30 in Radley's innings.
The hosts were in trouble at 7-2 and 62-6 only for the visitors to be frustrated by Ali Malik (52) and captain Malik Sagher Salim (24), who put on 74 for the seventh wicket.
The side will be looking to build on this performance when they entertain leaders Oxenford 2nd next Saturday.
