Veteran seamer Andy Cummings clocked up 500 wickets on the Cherwell League website in Horspath 3rd's 65-run defeat at home to Great Brickhill 2nd in Division 3A.
The evergreen left-armer reached the milestone with a trademark inswinging delivery to trap opener Nimesh Chavda lbw for 17 after the Brickhill skipper had elected to bat.
It was the highlight of a typically tight opening spell from Cummings, who returned figures of 1-17 off 10 overs bowling in tandem with his son, Josh.
Opener George Morris made 65, before Jason Cardy (3-29) and Ed Oakley (2-35) pegged Brickhill back to 176-7.
Horspath's run chase never really got going with the side bowled out for 111 despite Azlan Sharif making 43 as the wickets were shared around.
The side are away to unbeaten leaders Bledlow Village on Saturday.
Horspath 4th, who included three under 13s, fell to a seven-wicket defeat at Wootton & Boars Hill in Division 5C.
The visitors were restricted to 101-7 after being put in to bat with only skipper Craig Wharton (44) and debutant Callum Wade (19) making any headway as Nick Hill took 4-24.
Wootton captain Billy Webb (36no) and Alex Bull (32) steered Wootton to victory at 103-3, while there was a first wicket for Pavlos Pavlides.
Horspath are at home to Risinghurst on Saturday.
