Skipper Todd leads way for Horspath 2nd

CAPTAIN Joey Todd hit a half-century as Horspath 2nd moved up to third in Cherwell League Division 1 with a convincing 91-run win at Dinton.
Todd made 55 off 82 balls with five fours to set the visitors on the way to 209-9 after he chose to bat.
He shared an opening stand of 53 with Christopher Hofen (26), before putting on 63 for the second wicket with Dominic O'Connor (29).
Tom Coleman chipped in with 25, but the innings rather fell away with Usman Manawar (4-53) and Thomas Maciejewski (3-56) leading Dinton's fightback.
Eliot Lloyd (20) and Hassan Zubair gave the hosts a solid start in reply with 43 for the first wicket, but after Ed Oakley made the breakthrough, Joval Calix (4-31) and Josh Richardson (3-44) worked their way through the order to send Dinton spinning to 118 all out.
Faisal Ali (34) provided the only resistance, before Tyrone Eyles (2-2) polished off the tail.
The side's third straight win takes them up to their highest position this season ahead of next Saturday's home game against Aston Rowant 2nd.
