TYRONE Eyles starred with bat and ball as Horspath made it three wins out of three in the Hartwell Senior Cup with a 15-run victory over Oxford at the Recreation Ground.
Eyles smashed an unbeaten 48 off 35 balls to power Horspath to 154-6 in the Oxon T20 Pool 1 top-of-the-table clash, before taking 3-30 to help restrict Oxford to 139-8.
He blasted three fours and two sixes in one over to ensure the hosts posted a challenging total after Minhaj Jalill had hammered 31 from 26 deliveries. Left-arm spinner Harvey Jupp (2-22) was the pick of the Oxford attack.
George Tait got the visitors' run chase off to a flying start by blasting two sixes in his 35 off 20 balls, before Eyles came on and made the breakthrough with Christopher Hofen taking a fine running catch at third man to dismiss the Oxford captain.
Fellow opener Parmar made a run-a-ball 29, but Horspath's bowlers got on top with Jalill leading the way with 1-13 off his four overs.
Skipper Amin Rafiq chipped in with 2-25 as Oxford arrived at the last over needing 19 to win, and Eyles made sure Horspath's total was never in danger by wrapping up victory.
The win puts Horspath two points clear at the top of the group ahead of Tuesday's home game against bottom club Tiddington.
