Plans are now well in motion for Horspath CC's Charity Fun Tape Ball Cricket Six-A-Side Competition at the Recreation Ground on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 30.
Many thanks to those who have already signed up to play in the event, which is a fundraiser for Mind and Oxfordshire Mind.
The competition, which is due to take place from 10.30am onwards, is for club members, friends and family.
Nine teams made up of two men's cricketers, a women's cricketer, a junior player plus two supporters/parents are already in place.
So the format can be finalised, organisers are asking anyone wishing to take part to sign up by Thursday, August 27 (details are on the noticeboard in the clubroom).
Alternatively, please email hcc.secretary@live.co.uk expressing your interest, so you can be included in a team.
Team members will be asked to make a £5 donation to charity, and each will receive a team shirt for the day with thanks to Newtrim.

Raffle tickets are already being sold and all additional auction and raffle prizes will be gratefully received.
It's planned to have a BBQ until 4.30pm with Thai food from 6-8pm and the bar will be open all day.
Volunteers are sought to assist on the BBQ and bar. If you can help, please contact one of the organisers (see below).
Music is to be played during the games with live music in the evening (7-9pm).
Elements of the day are also available for sponsorship (eg BBQ, live music etc) if you wish to get involved in that way.
