Horspath will field three new recruits when they take on Banbury in the club's opening pre-season friendly at the Recreation Ground tomorrow (Saturday, 11.30am).
Opening batsman and seamer Sravan Konidena, batsman Tom Nichols and all-rounder Liam Turnbull are all included as the side, led by new skipper Amin Rafiq, begin the build-up to their Home Counties Premier Cricket League campaign.
Konidena joins from Wargrave, and has already made his mark at the Rec, having impressed in last year's Feast Match with a stylish 78 for the President's XI.
The 20-year-old right-hander has hit centuries in Home Counties Division 1 in the last two seasons.
He made 101 off 109 balls in a 26-run defeat at home to Henley last August, while his top league score came two years ago with 121 from 110 deliveries in a 44-run win at Datchet.
He is also a useful seam bowler as he demonstrated for Oxford UCCE recently with tidy spells in their warm-up matches away to Derbyshire and against Notts in The Parks.
Nichols has hit three centuries for Eversley in the Thames Valley League with a top score of 130 off 118 balls in a Division 1 draw at home to Falkland two years ago.
The right-hander's third ton came as captain last season when he made 101 from 118 deliveries in an 11-run defeat at Tring Park.
Having hit 93 on his league debut for Eversley in a seven-wicket defeat at home to Kew at the end of the 2017 season, he has played at the Hampshire club for the last seven years.
Turnbull, who like Konidena is a member of the Oxford UCCE squad, and arrives from Henley, having previously had spells with Kingston Bagpuize, Oxford Downs and Wantage & Grove.
While at Pangbourne College in 2021, he received an EPP contract for the Isle of Wight county cricket board - a two-year sponsorship for emerging players.
This came after he hit an unbeaten 150 off 132 balls for Hampshire Under 15 in their ECB County Championship match away to Isle of Wight two years earlier.
Horspath have also recruited wicket-keeper Shazad Rana, the brother of 3rd XI captain Mohson, although he is unavailable tomorrow.
He brings a wealth of experience following spells in the Home Counties with Oxford, Kidlington, Slough and most recently Banbury.
A steady gloveman, he has taken 276 catches and effected 75 stumpings in league cricket, spending the vast majority of his career in the top flight.
With valuable contributions in the middle order, he has a Home Counties top score of 73 for Kidlington in a drawn game at home to Buckingham Town in 2008 and has proved a thorn in Horspath's side on numerous occasions.
He showed he retains all his enthusiasm for the game with his league-best score coming only last year with 80 for Banbury 2nd at Cropredy in Cherwell Division 1.
The club wish them all success during their time at Horspath.
