HORSPATH will be hoping to get their pre-season programme under way on Saturday with a double-header against old rivals Oxford before launching their Voneus Village Cup challenge at the Baldons on Sunday.
With last Saturday's opening games against Didcot and Cookham Dean 2nd called off due to wet grounds, prospects appear better this weekend following a dry week, although there is rain in the forecast.
The 1st XI are at home to Oxford, while the 2nd XI are away, with the club then on the road to the Baldons. All three games are due to start at 1pm.
In last week's Village Cup preliminary round, Tiddington beat Sandford St Martin by 77 runs, while Stanton Harcourt went through on the toss of a coin against Cropedy due to the bad weather.
Tiddington were bowled out for 110, but then rolled over Sandford for 33.
